J.P. and Aimee were married on May 29, 2004, after dating for almost four years.  Before that, they were best friends who met in high school.  J.P. was born and raised in Richmond, VA, while Aimee was born in Tulsa, OK and raised in Richmond. 

After marriage, J.P. and Aimee moved to St. Louis so that J.P. could study at Concordia Seminary.  J.P. graduated from Concordia Seminary in May 2009, and was ordained June 28, 2009.

Celeste was added to the family on March 8, 2007, ushering J.P. and Aimee into the turbulent waters of parenthood.  She has changed everything, and has been a joy since the day she was born.

The waters became even more turbulent and joyous on August 26, 2009, when Isabella Grace Cima was born.  Bella, too, has changed everything, and continues to teach us daily that God’s grace is indeed beautiful.

Currently, J.P., Aimee, Celeste, and Isabella live in Hanoi, Vietnam.  We moved here in late August 2007 and have been working to facilitate human care work in the rural villages, as well as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program. To learn more about Vietnam, click here.
